Archeologies from the future and IROS - Imaginary Re-construction of Society. Utopia as method workshop

Inspired by Ruth Levitas' book Utopia as Method: The Imaginary Reconstitution of Society, I have few years developing a workshop that I have run with various groups of students, researchers and with communities.

The idea is to create collaborative future visions, that groups and communities would sent (exhibit) to the future in time capsules. The visions are formed using fragments and imagination, rather than total and wholeness and linear path to the future.

It is been a great tool that involves collaborative future mapping, visual conversations, performance and role playing, to support other ways of knowing, and disturb consent and support inclusion or peripheric or conflicting voices.
